Make a Mini Lightsaber with a 3D Pen

🧰 Materials Needed

  • 1x Un3D printing pen (any standard model)
  • PLA filaments in black, grey, red, blue (you can also use green or purple!)
  • transparent plastic sheet (for tracing)

🪄 Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Create the Handle
With black filament, draw a short, thick handle (approx. 2–3 cm). Add extra layers for a 3D grip feel.

Step 2: Draw the Blade
Place the plastic sheet on your work surface. Using blue or red filament, draw a straight blade shape about 7–8 cm long. Make 2–3 layers to strengthen the structure.

Step 3: Join Blade and Handle
Gently melt the end of the blade and press it into the handle while the plastic is still warm. You can reinforce the connection with extra filament.

Step 4: Add Details
Wrap a layer of filament at the connection point to simulate the lightsaber's emitter ring. Add buttons and texture on the handle using grey PLA filament.

Step 5: Let It Cool and Pose!
Wait for your lightsaber to cool completely. Now it’s ready for display—or a mini duel!
